Holy Balls am I a slow learner
basically lightmaps= AO Maps
It's not that big of a deal for models from the ME games because those don't have light maps to begin with but I was always wondering why I could never get Alex Mercer's face to look right no matter what I did... turns out I was NOT USING THE PROPER LIGHT MAPS.
anyway I finally got my hands on a model of Alex from P2 that had a skeleton and skinning and I've been modding it (basically throwing out his scary face from P2 and replacing it with the sexy one from P1)
It's still a W.I.P. but this is what I have so far:
oh glorious light maps!
I'm also thinking about redoing all the textures to bring dat pretty ass into current gen graphics (or ME3-level anyway...)
